Using your phone, or even better, a hand-held stereo voice-recorder, go on a quest to record as many different bird calls as possible AND as cleanly as possible (without any background noise - especially man made noise). Another time, test your friends by playing back the bird recordings and letting them guess the sounds you recorded.
