Look up on YouTube an animation or dramatised video of your favourite Bible story, or one you've studied the past week. It may make you see the story in new light. However, also watch out for any subtle differences between what the Bible says and how the scenes were presented in the video. If your'e in a small group, see who can spot the most differences between the Bible and the Video, and determine how much each 'error' matters.

Find your Favourite Preacher on YouTube

Search on YouTube for your favourite preacher, or a memorable preacher who visited your church recently or from years back. See what sermons of theirs are online to watch.

Watch Testimony Videos

Look up testimony videos on YouTube and watch people telling their story of conversion to Christianity, or from evolutionist to creationist.

Watch First Time Seeing/Hearing Videos

There are videos of people seeing or hearing for the first time thanks to the help of technology and medicine. Watch and be inspired. Later read about some of the healings in the New Testament and relate them to the videos you saw.

View an IMAX Documentary

IMAX cinemas, the theatres with massive screens, often show nature documentaries. This is an awe inspiring way to experience God's creation you might not usually come so close to.

Watch an online Documentary

This idea will never get exhausted. There are many full length documentaries to be found online, (eg on YouTube). Search for a documentary on an specific animal, plant, habitat, space or the human body and marvel an what an amazingly complex creation this world is.

Watch a Concert

Look up a concert on YouTube of one of your favorite Christian music groups. Get it cranking through your stereo for a toe tapping* good time. (*Toe tapping optional)

Re-look at Your Wedding Pictures/video

If you haven't for some time, or if your kids have never seen them, have a look at your wedding pictures and/or video together. See who's in them that you haven't contacted for a long time and make contact again to catch up.

Invite Home for Lunch and a DVD

Invite people home, (after church) for lunch and an afternoon DVD. It could be a sermon recording from your church library or a nature presentation.

Watch a Sunset

Watch a sunset to make a special opening or closing of a Sabbath. Try and find a place which has a great view of the horizon, and is as quiet as possible. Take some friends and/or loved ones, read some of the Bible together, share your favorite Bible verse or story, take some photos, sing, pray.

Watch Some Timelapses

Watch some time lapses of nature on YouTube. You can speed up time and see the world at a rate that God can view our time.
Ideas for subjects: Flowers, trees, oceans, lightning, sunsets, stars, snow...

Watch the Clouds

Lie on your back and watch and admire the clouds transforming, appearing and disappearing, as they float past.

Search YouTube for Inspirational Videos for Church

Search YouTube.com for any videos that you may be able to use as inspirational messages or object lessons at church.

Visit Christian Media Websites

Visit the website of some Christian magazines, radio stations or TV programs you know of or can find online via a search.

Watch Family Home Movies

Watch some old home videos of your family or dig out the old slide projector or movie reels - if you have some or know someone in your wider family who does.

Borrow a Friend's DVD

Ask a friend or family member if they have any good Christian videos or DVD's to watch.

Search YouTube for Theological Topics

Search YouTube.com or GodTube.com for any videos on theological topics that interest you but be sure to check what is said with what the Bible actually has written.

Watch Christian News

Watch any news program broadcasts that may be produced by your church denomination online, smart phone apps or on Satellite television.

Watch Christian Satellite TV

Watch Christian satellite TV (or set a reminder to get it connected during the week if you don't have it). There are many channels that can be received for free once you have a small satellite dish installed for a few hundred dollars. Most channels are also available online.

Borrow From the Church Video Library

See what new videos/DVDs are available in your church library. If you think you've already seen everything that interests you, try borrowing something that you hadn't considered watching before.
